Ron Robinson – Embera Mask Exhibit

In 1978, Ron Robinson, Inc. opened its doors at Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue, and has grown exponentially ever since. His stores have continually changed the face of shopping and fashion. Today, RR boutiques are located on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles as part of the Fred Segal center, and on Fifth Street in Santa Monica as the Flagship location. Learn more about the Ron Robonson Lifestyle Store.

During April and May, 2018, Ron Robinson will showcase the Rainforest Baskets collection of Embera masks, over 75 masks hand woven by indigenous weavers of the Embera tribe of Pamana. These pieces were traditionally used in cleansing and healing rituals, hung from the sides and tops of village huts where a ceremony is taking place.
