Colorful overlapping flowers and butterflies. The open petals on each flower alternate colors: orange, red, yellow, pink, with white, fucia, or gray interior contrasting stitches. Tall green stamens grow from the centers, topped with a tiny colorful decoration. Woven onto an ecru background, slightly more ‘natural’ looking color but actually an additional step the weaver took to dye her base materials – another detail completing this unique masterpiece.
